I live here in Dallas.  The local media is reporting thatAvery Johnson gave the Mavs the day off yesterday, but the players called a "players only" practice.  I'm not saying it makes a difference but it is interesting to hear that they are not just grabbing their ankles.  They are a veteran team and if they are gonna show any heart at all- tonight is the night.  That being said, I'm taking the Hornets.

I will try to save everyone money again...i said take ATL last night and everyone thought i was an idiot.  Take Dallas +61/2 or 7 which ever its at.

Mavs vs. Hornets over 194.5 (3 units) - Games 1 (196) and 2 (230) were in New Orleans, but games 3 (184) and 4 (181) were in Dallas.  And even the final game of the regular season for these teams was in Dallas (209).  Yes, if you couldn't figure it out yet the total score is in parenthesis, and if you average out their last 5 games played it comes to a total of 200 points even.  I'll gladly take the over here in Game 5 of the series because the Mavs know they have to score a lot to win the game.  New Orleans will try to slow the pace down to limit the Dallas possessions which is my only problem with this pick.

N.O. has dominated Dallas at home.  Dallas looks lost when the Hornets start getting off.  They don't counterpunch, they just take their beating like a bloated boxer. 
 
I like the Hornets to knock them out.

You may be right.... I don't believe Dallas loses by 10 to 12 and they are down by 15 right now, so that -1 looks good.

Dallas scored only 2 pts in the last 4 minutes of 2nd quarter, hows that? They want to the total to go under 194.5. Gimme the over 98 2nd half.
