I don't know which way to go here. I like the Mavs as a team better than the Hornets but I'm sick of losing money on teams I "like better" and hope will win. Could you please talk me into taking the Mavs here with some reasons? Or are you just hoping they win like me since you're from Texas?

Dallas being down 1-3 is similar to one of thier basketball games....which means as long as they are ahead then they have a chance(somewhat) of winning....but when they are down 1-3 ,or by 20pts.....they give up becuz they lack pride and heart.....take N.O. FOR they were down 14 or 15pts at the half in game 1 and stormed back to win 104-92......last game they was almost down by 20 in the first qtr....and came back to take the lead by halftime.....that's heart.....u got a whole team playing against 2 people on dallas(dirk&terry)....kidd sorry as hell....stackhouse is a no show.....howard is sometimey.....they will play hard becuz they backs against the wall ....but it wont be enough to stop paul as he gets back on track at home......N.O.-OVER....as the hornets avg. 102pts at home.....and dallas defense has given up 100pts. average all year in N.O.

Halsey, lets not talk about what happened to Boston last night.
I'm right with everyone in this in that the Hornets should win this game without much of a problem. They are back in front of their home crowd, where they are becoming almost impossible to beat. The Mavs and the Suns both made questionable trades for veterans past their primes, and it comes back to hurt them when it matters. CP3 should post his usually 30 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals type of game. Either way I'm loving the OVER here. Both games in New Orleans went OVER, followed by some slower scoring in Dallas. Once again though, when a team is backed up against the wall, the scoring tends to go up as they become more focused on getting a basket each and every time down the court. Seeing this being thrown into a teaser as well though, just to be safe.
New Orleans PK OVER 187.5

Clearly, the Mavericks are experiencing the end of a great franchise run. After dropping their round one affair last year to Golden State (2-4) it appears the franchise decline is underway. No doubt Dallas guard Jason Kidd is still capable, but he has peaks and valleys in his game that disallows floor continuity. In addition, the Mavs cant rely strictly on Dirk Nowitski to carry the offensive load, and his defense is becoming more questionable. NO has covered 4 straight at home in this series, while the home team is 6-1 ATS. Lastly, Dallas is now 1-7 ATS in Conference Quarter Final battles.
I have 3 units on this play.

being that i live in dallas, no one will likely take my opinion but watch dallas win tonight. it may be close but dallas will pull away at the end. although, in a weird way its almost worth losing just to see cuban fire avery and dismantle the team. dallas by 5+
