Is this clear enough for those of you who call the Lakers a jumpshooting team and the Celtics a hard nosed take it to the basket team?????  These two teams basically took it to the rim the same amount of times in game 2 and the celtics went to the line 28 more times!!!

i have a better stat, though... 48... the number of minutes of that game that i watched... and regardless of what your bullshit stats say, the Lakers did not go to the rim... they spent one stretch of the 3rd-4th quarter where they have almost 20 straight possessions without getting inside the paint... it was fucking laughable!  and you are going to sit here and skew a bunch of numbers to argue that the Lakers WERE, in fact, attacking the rim...
 
no they weren't!  watch the game next time... it will tell you more than any box score ever can...

CMJ... we have the exact same 3 team teaser bet... except i only went with a 5 pt teaser...

 

LA (-4.5), Bos (+14.5), Un (201)...

i've never bet both sides on a teaser before, but this looks pretty easy...

 

also a small ML bet to protect my game 4 ML and Series bets on Boston...

I changed my mind on this one.  I was going to tease the Celtics this game, but I seriously doubt Lakers lose this one, and it could potentially be a blow out.  The 4th quarter of game 2 sticks in my mind.  The Celtics decided to take the foot of the gas and almost cost them.  Now, up 2-0, they may decide to take the foot of the gas in this one as well.  So, I'm doing:

Lakers -4
Under 203

Lakers win tonight, and should easily cover 4 points.  And I like the under tonight too at 203.

Until one of these teams can prove otherwise you have to go with the home court advantage. That is what the trend seems to be throughout the playoffs.

The Lakers were 18-30 in either layups or dunks
 
The Celtics were 16-18 in either layups or dunks
 
lets for the sake of arguement assume that we will count the 38 freethrows as layup or dunk attempts as well as the Lakers 10 freethrows as layup or dunk attempts.  Now you have
 
18-35 for the Lakers
 
16-37 for the Celtics.

Enough said.  I dont trust the NBA or its refs to comfortably put my money on this game or this series anymore.  If you must have the action I would suggest playing by the quarter in game so you can see how its being called.

best way to bet the games in LA, in my opinion...
 
 
Bos (+?)... Bos ML... all 3 games... bet the same amount on each...
 
1) LA not gonna cover more than 1 at home laying that many points...
2) Bos will take at least 1 game in LA...
 
if both 1 and 2 happen, you would be up 8 units for 3 games... if Bos manages to win 2 (which is what i think will happen), you are up 17 units in 3 games...
 
absolute worst care scenario is down 6 units... IF LA wins and covers all 3 (not a chance!)...
 
this is the smart play for these 3 games...

Seriously, this game scares the heck outta me.  Boston 4-0 vs Lakers and Lakers 8-0 at home in the playoffs.  This is what bookies dream of - they're going to the bank either way.
