After dropping Game 2 at home, the Celts had to win on the road to regain home court advantage.  They did that.  Now that they have regained home court advantage, I don't think they will come out as intense as they were in game 3.  I think Detroit brings it tonight and will cover easily.

Detroit -6 in this one

Hey Boyz...i think im going with CMJ here...what he posted it seems like,  if the pistons aint hittin over 50% for the game and cant rebound in the paint then they lose.

I'm sorta rootin for Boston, but can't see them winning here. look at wangichu and nightridah..
Pistons won't lose 2 in a row at home..Boston has never been a 6 point dog this year.. Pistons and under...Celts will lose this battle,but win the war...

A tip of the hat to CJM for last night. 

Just in case Detroit does come out fired up, I'm taking them first quarter. But whoever is up at the half, I'll probably bet to prevail for the game.  Meanwhile, the Under has been good in this series.

that game was as much of a no-brainer as you ever get in handicapping... there was only one side, and if you were on the other side of that game, you are fucking busch league...

and i went on record BEFORE game 3 saying exactlyl that!

do not pipe this crap about it being a fluke... the better team usually wins the series (the better team is Boston)... the team that wins the series almost never is behind in the series after 3 games (the team that is going to win the series is Boston)...

 

i said i was thinking of staying away from this game, but after seeing all of the notoriously bad handicappers all over Detroit AGAIN, even though Detroit has shown they have no reason at all to be laying 6 (or 3 for that matter)...

this is definitely a room that you fade, by and large... sad to say, but true... fade the room... bet the Celtics...

Well this is about the DUMBEST capping thread I've seen in a LONG time.  With 80 or 90% of you goofballs backing the Pistons simply because (paraphrasing) "it's impossible for the Pistons to lose 2 in a row at home".

The Covers writeup on the game is nothing short of RETARDED, spending 75% of the article talking about how Hamilton had a baby and wondering if he'll score 20 points.

Really sad.  I'm not saying Celtics win this, but seeing how they MANHANDLED the Pistons by FOURTEEN points when they were 5 point DOGS only the day before yesterday, I think only a MORON would go ahead and lay the chalk and/or the points on this game.

Again, I'm not calling for another Celtics upset, I just think it's a sad bit of capping in this thread.

ok fine, so you posted some stats... but why ignore the other side of those stats?  Ray Allen was abismally cold, and Pierce only took 4 shots all game... and yet Boston dominated...

 

on a side note: for those of you who didn't know... hamstring injuries ONLY heal when you stop playing all together... Billups' hamstring will not get ANY better until after the season ends...
