Predict the Super Bowl - Cash Prize

There will be a cash prize awarded to the player who most accurately predicts the Super Bowl.  The deadline to post your prediction is Wednesday, October 7th.  This gives everyone four weeks of regular season games to make their prediction.  Here's the deal:

Predict the winning and losing team and the final score, for example:

New England 27 Seattle 23

Predictions must be posted on this forum thread and meet the deadline.  Needless to say you only get one shot at this.  If somebody does post more than once, I will accept the post with the earliest time-stamp.

Just to be clear - If your prediction is not on this forum thread or is posted after the deadline, it will not be accepted.

Last year only 43 of 101 players made a prediction, hopefully we have a larger field this year.  A tiebreaking scenario will be posted once the deadline expires.  Prize amount will be posted after the total prize pool amount is determined.

Why wait for the deadline.  Tiebreaker scenario as follows:

1.  Pick the winning team.

2.  Pick the winning and losing team.

3.  Pick the winning and losing team, and pick closest to the total points scored in the game without exceeding the actual total points scored in the game.

4.  Pick the winning and losing team, pick closest to the total points scored in the game without exceeding the actual total points scored in the game, and pick closest to the margin of victory without exceeding the actual margin of victory.

ADDITONAL TIEBREAKERS IF NEEDED

5. If nobody correctly picks the winning team (it happened last year), any player who correctly picks the losing team will advance to the tiebreakers involving point total and margin of victory.

6. If nobody correctly picks the winning or losing team, any player who picks a team that appears in the Super Bowl will advance to the point total and game margin tiebreakers. 

For example - if you pick a team to win, and they lose, and nobody else had them losing, you advance. Conversely, if you pick a team to lose, and they win, and nobody else had them winning, you advance.

7.  If nobody correctly picks either of the two teams that appear in the Super Bowl, the tiebreaker will be decided by winning conference (AFC or NFC).  Players who correctly pick the winning conference will advance to the point total and margin of victory tiebreakers.

8.  If there is a point total and margin of victory tie between any players who picks the winning conference, the prize money will go to the player with the highest winning percentage at the conclusion of the season.

9.  If there is a further tie, tied players will split the prize money.
