A Special Day for Me

Hey Guys ... I trust everyone is picking better than Frankie and I.  It must be the onset of winter, Frank, that has numbed our brains

On a more serious note, Dec. 3, 1968 was a day that I got shot twice and my entire rifle company was wiped out - 111 of 125 killed in action.  There was a time when I was surely a dead man, except for the heroism of a guy named John Holcomb who died so I could live.  If you get a minute today, please remember him and all the brave heroes who gave what Abraham Lincoln called "the last full measure of devotion."
