Want to know why there was no story about a mass shooting today?

Differentiate ? Baloney. Children are being massacred with assault weapons and you want to continue the status quo because there might be a black market ?  Alcohol is legal but we have controls..

Certain guns could be legal with controls, rather than the proliferation of assault weapons to any nut case out there.

 

 

And don what exactly is an assault weapon? If your going to use the term at least use it correctly. Im thinking an assault weapon would be any weapon used in the act of commiting an assault. But dont let legitimacy get in the way of your opinion. And almost forgot, what again is your stance on abortion in the grand scheme of ending young lives?

AR-15 is not used by the Military.  Neither is a shotgun with a foregrip and pistol grip. 

Nor is a barrett 98B.

All would be considered Assault Weapons by the made up definition of gun grabbers. 

Assault weapon = any gun that looks scarier than a double barreled shotgun.

You think making guns single shot and with fewer bullets would stop shootings? Wouldn’t the person just buy more guns, reconfigure the weapon or use a different weapon?

Let’s say all assault weapons are illegal. Wouldn’t the person just ask a gang member for a gun? The same people in the drug trade know where to acquire guns and every single kind of other weapon.

Might be a black market? A huge black market for guns already exists. It would go from underground to mainstream as soon as guns were made illegal.

Gangs would absolutely love the government to put a gun ban into law. The profits would be through the roof. It would turn all small timers into Al Capone.

Putting up boundaries doesn’t work. If a person is intent on acquiring an assault weapon or inflicting mass death. There is nothing that can really be done to prevent it.

This is a parenting issue.

The term "assault rifle" is made up and just ridiculous. Where are the "assault cars" or "assault knives" or "assault prescription meds"? All of those things kill people every day, yet fail to have the term "assault " stuck to them. What's the difference between an assault rifle and just a rifle? Or are all rifles, assault rifles? Nobody knows. It's a made up term used to brainwash naive people into giving up the right to defend themselves.

This incident was stopped by an armed "resource officer" - an idea which you laughed at.
