The office in question is from Taiwan which has democracy just like us. Don't let facts get in the way of your propaganda though..........

U.S. Navy Lt. Commander ....Edward Lin has been charged .....with espionage for allegedly passing military secrets to a foreign power – China or Taiwan.

It has not been proven yet ,,that Lt.Lin was passing secrets back to our ally and his motherland Taiwan...officially the Republic of China

No ...  Hong Kong is part of the Chinese mainland ...Taiwan is an Island off the cost of China ..formally known as Formosa...

When I was there in1961 most of the main roads going through  towns were just dirt roads..since then Taiwan has boomed on the strength of high-tech export and has a dynamic capitalist economy...

OK just confused. Had hotwheel cars and matchbox cars. Some said made in Hong Kong thenn they were made in Taiwan. Thought it changed its name now made in China.
