Republicans are currently running a campaign to encourage uninsured NOT to get health insurance in an effort to sabotage the system. When it comes to healthcare, the republican party is legitimately trying to fu ck over the American people. This is not about a difference of opinion, these people are out of their fu cking minds.

I believe I heard on the news within the last week that a majority of Republicans and independents want to get rid of Obamacare.

I think something like 47 percent of Democrats also

this is interesting.  a lot, as in tens of millions, i think, are about to get health coverage for themselves and their kids for the first time in their lives and the government is going to help pay for it and republicans are telling them to reject it.  i'm not too sure about this strategy.

The government is going to help pay for it.........................

Driving up costs, while reducing the quality of care, without insuring any additional legal citizens.

If you think how much time, energy and money (alot of taxpayers money) was spent into the Failed attempts at trying to shut it down... It's pretty ironic that the basic premise was on frivolous spending...

If you think how much time, energy and money (alot of taxpayers money) was spent into the Failed attempts at trying to shut it down... It's pretty ironic that the basic premise was on frivolous spending...

Government pay for it? Classic, you mean the tax payer will pay for it. Go to your nearest big city and hang out from 9-5 walking around the streets. See what those people are doing to try to improve there lives and ask yourself why you should have to spend your money on them? Humans are lazy it's a fact. I don't want to go to work everyday, work out, do my finances, volunteer firefight, however I do that because of the rewards I get from each of them.

Would it be fair for someone like me who is in shape to have to take weight from a fat person to balance us out? Even if I were to accept that weight and we became even, in a month I would lose the weight and they would put it back on leaving us exactly where we started. Unless you earn something on your own it means nothing, and insurance is no different.

Also, there has NEVER been a majority of the public in favor of Obamacare.
The unions are even coming out against the law now. Guess they should have read it before they supported it.
Thanks Nancy Pelosi for being such a dipshit thinking you know what is best for all of us and not even knowing what was in the bill.

i specifically said "government" to help pay for it to get you guys fired up.  we all know where that money comes from.

can'twinelall, of course there are lazy people who will benefit from these taxpayer funded government paying for it subsidies for basic health care.  as for me, i'm willing to pay for that if i can also help pay for the sick, veterans, children and other needy people who will be assisted as well.  no system is going to be perfect and i'm sure this one will be far from it, but i also know three things- the current system is fucked, the republicans don't seem to have an alternative and we all know there are certain groups that ned help and basic healthcare.

beyond that, you guys can relax.  we all now know that the when the government "pays for something" they are using taxpayer money.

of course, whether the government pays for it, it's taxpayer money or the money comes from romney's swiss bank account, that completely misses the point of this thread.  the point is whether the republican strategy of trying to convince people who have never had basic health insurance for themselves and their families to turn it down when now they can get it at a subsidized rate, no matter where the subsidy comes from.

On January 1, 2014, everyone in this country will pay for healthcare. Even the ones that now enjoy the coverage through any government plan. The people that think they will get free coverage will be surprised. Obama has lied about this plan from day one. You elected him and supported him thinking you would get something free.....wake up and smell the crap. You will be paying just like ever one else. Welcome to the dumb masses.

Nice work dirt... Looks like you got the usual suspects all fired up...

When they post as a group blindly agreeing each other in the classic "circle jerk" song and dance you know that something is getting under their skin

Those of us that have health insurance have been paying for those that don't have insurance already. Why do you think our insurance rates continue to rise? Its to cover the loss cost of those that don't have insurance, but yet those people with no insurance run to the emergency room every time they have a health problem and most emergency rooms don't turn back anyone. Those people usually don't pay their medical bill, therefore those who have insurance get stuck paying for the rising cost of health care to cover the loss of those that don't pay their medical bills. So the more people to have some type of coverage the better!

All you have to do is read the law. It is clear what will take place. I doubt you will read it and you probably wouldn't understand it if you did. Are you an Obama moocher? More than likely. You're getting free stuff or you wouldn't be such a jackass. You afraid you gonna loose your stuff. You probably are and then you will look at the community organizer in a different light. He isn't taking care of you. You are about to find out what a sucker you have been.
