House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, one of four congressional leaders who met with Obama, expressed support for some of the president's options, "such as increasing the effectiveness of the Iraqi Security Forces and training and equipping the Syrian opposition,'' said an aide to the speaker.

Boehner also said "he would support the President if he chose to deploy the military to help train and play an advisory role for the Iraqi Security Forces and assist with lethal targeting" of the Islamic State leadership.

"I support the president taking military action in Iraq and Syria to combat this organization. I also support his request for additional authority to support the moderate, vetted Syrian opposition. But more must be done." — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

"After calling on the president to take additional actions against ISIL, I am encouraged by his statement this evening and his willingness to take strong action to defeat ISIL. Tonight, the president has announced the United States' willingness to lead a coalition to destroy ISIL, and I support these efforts." — Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

  Kevin McCarthy and  Saxby Chambliss are part of the RINO-infested GOP..and John Boehner is not just a RINO ,but a total incompetent RINO ....so anything they support is RINO blue..

"The president is to be commended for his decision to take action against ISIL targets, wherever they are, including Syria." — Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Mike Rogers is another member of the herd .. he’s calling it quits from Congress and isn’t running for re-election this fall..

He voted YES on the first vote of the revenue bill ..If he , along with 2 others, had listened to the public outcry and voted NO, it would have forced a vote on the Cut, Cap, and Balance Bill that would have prevented the downgrade of the USA credit rating from AAA to AA+.

Within 12 hours of Obama’s speech, jobless claims had soared far beyond expectations for the week.. the workforce continues to collapse..jobless claims surged to 315k - the highest since June...

 

The American people don't want boots on the ground. You can't defeat ISIS without boots on the ground. Are we going to follow ISIS into Iran? Syrian rebels and Iraqi troops are going to be our boots on the ground?

There are only two options to deal with this war...

1. Order all Americans to leave Muslim lands and end doing business with Muslims completely.

2. Declare a war on Islam and wipe the religion and its followers off the planet.

There is no third option.

There will be 1,500 sets of boots on the ground after the additional 475 Obama ordered last night.
That is 3,000 boots, many many more if you count contractors.  There is a hiring bonanza taking place for contractor jobs right now.

There are 5 people that I believe should be president. Obama is not one of them.

Obama is playing PC politics. He's saying ISIS doesn't represent what Islam is truly about. Even Rand Paul would say the same thing if he was president.

Who do you respect? The right wants to go all in against ISIS. They want to give more money and weapons to the Syrian rebels. People that say the right is wrong are dumb. People that say the left is wrong are also dumb.

The Obama administration likes to refer to them as the "moderate Syrian rebels".... CIA operatives and U.S. special operations troops have been secretly training the "moderate Syrian rebels" with anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons since late last year,,,all CIA funded.

I know one thing.. if I'm backing an army in a war ..I certainly don't want it made up with a group of moderates..but a group of rough, determined,,, extreme revolutionary fighters..

When I listen to the "misinformed" arguments I can't help but think how smart the people pulling the strings are. Release two beheading videos and they basically got full support to invade Syria and go back into Iraq. Obviously ISIS will end up trickling into Iran and we'll have to go there as well.

I respect the 4 men who died defending our consulate in Benghazi along iwth the 3 men who were told to 'stand down' before they could help. That is for starters.

So what politician do you respect? They all think it's a good idea to arm the Syrian rebels. McCain was posing for pictures with them. Do you like McCain? What Politian do you support?

If we are to do something about ISIS,, then it can't be to shrink ISIS' or just contain them with pinprick attacks ...we need to go at them with all we have and destroy them ...in a mission led by the United States and without asking for UN approval...

McCain is now showing the signs of the effects of the repeated beatings every two hours he received while he was in captivity..anything he suggest should be disregarded..and the politician I respect and support is Ted Cruz..
