The GOP's image turns more negative

According to the Pew Research Center, "Unfavorable opinions of the GOP are now as high as at any point since 1992."

Democrats:  net negative 5%
Republicans:  net negative 29%

It's funny that a thread about actual numbers and not opinions and manifactured fiction gets no response. It's like the partisan lemmings are completely unable to talk about reality.

Why was the GOP so unfavorable in 1992? 

So it was bush's fault?  He represented the whole party? Or was it more than that?

I get that. But I think the fact that America had already said through the ballot box that they did not approve of the GOP at the time was not reactionary to bush but maybe to his predecessor or other factors specific to issues. Like were there actual failed philosophies or policies that had America choose to not only make bush a one term president but to also fill the legislative branch with dems?
