Remember durning the Saddleback debates?
 
One of the questions Pastor Rick Warren asked each Presidential candidate which Justices he would not have nominated.
 
Obama 's answer:
 
"I would not have nominated Clarence Thomas. I don't think that he, I don't think that he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation. Setting aside the fact that I profoundly disagree with his interpretation of a lot of the Constitution."
 
 
Now Fast Foward  about 3 & 1/2 months ............

The Supreme Court plans to meet Friday to decide whether to hear a case that could determine whether President-elect Barack Obama ever becomes the nation's president.

Justice Clarence Thomas picked up the petition to hear New Jersey attorney Leo Donofrio's lawsuit after it was denied by Justice David H. Souter. Justice Thomas referred it to the full court, which decided to distribute the case for the judges' conference.

The decision to put the case on Friday's docket resulted from more than a dozen lawsuits challenging Mr. Obama's right to be president based on his citizenship at birth. The issue preoccupied many conservative bloggers in the weeks before the Nov. 4 election.

President-elect Barack Obama was born under the jurisdiction of a foreign power, Britain, and is therefore ineligible to serve as president of the United States, according to a lawsuit that has reached the Supreme Court.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Polls show that Americans overwhelmingly approve of Sen. Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, but will the founding fathers veto this popular addition to Barack Obama's "team of rivals"?

Yes, according to one conservative interpretation of the Constitution.

"Article 1, Section 6 of the Constitution says the following:

"No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil office under the authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time."

Translation: A lawmaker cannot fill a position if the salary for that position has been raised during that lawmaker's term in office.

In January, President Bush signed an executive order increasing the salary for the secretary of state and other Cabinet positions by $4,700. Hillary Clinton has been in the Senate since January 2001.

Mr. Donofrio contends, however, that Mr. Obama is not a "natural born citizen," as Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution requires.

"Don´t be distracted by the birth certificate and Indonesia issues," Mr. Donofrio said in a statement on the Citizen Wells Web site. "They are irrelevant to Senator Obama´s ineligibility to be president.

"Since Barack Obama´s father was a citizen of Kenya, and therefore subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of Senator Obama´s birth, then Senator Obama was a British citizen 'at birth,' just like the framers of the Constitution, and therefore, even if he were to produce an original birth certificate proving he were born on U.S. soil, he still wouldn´t be eligible to be president."

I personally hope this fails. Obama has so far shown himself to be more centrist than how he represented himself  during the primaries. His proposed cabinet so far is has some solid choices ( keeping Gates and tapped retired Marine General James L. Jones to be national security adviser ).
Unfortunately Obama has also made some awful choices ( Eric Holder for Attorney General and Paul Volcker as Obama's top economic advisor )

Why aren't the democrats concerned that he hasn't released his college records, his selective service records, his real birth certificate?

College records are only for Bush haters?

Where is the uproar?

...and, soon...within the next couple of years, the new President is going to be able to put at least 2 new justices on the Supreme Court that will deal with that fat old pervert Clarence Thomas.

Cut squirrel into serving pieces..
 
Place in a deep pot or dutch oven, heat some olive oil.

Season the squirrel on all sides with the Cajun seasoning. Add to the hot oil and turn to brown on all sides. Continue to cook until done.

Place the onion, bell pepper and garlic in a blender. Cover with water and chop. Add to the pot when squirrel is done.

Sprinkle the added vegetables with Cajun seasoning.

Add the Tabasco sauce, ketchup and the Gumbo File. Stir to mix well.

Serve over the cooked rice.
