Its the same but on different levels. Many guys on the far right preach blind hatred. Hatred for government = hate government workers. Hatred for illegal immigration = hate illegal immigrants. Hate for welfare = hate the individual poor who are obviously lazy. They don't distinguish so their brain dead listeners take the ball and run.

Guys on the far left don't do that, but they do create a perception that "only an idiot" could look at things from a different point of view. They also play into the stereotype BS that is so unhealthy i.e. if you are against Obama, you are a racist, if you are against health care, it is because you were born with a silver spoon. It minimizes some of the real and legitimate concerns that people have. So their extremism may not be as dangerous, but it certainly is equally as unhealthy.

There is a distinction between being opposed to illegal immigration and using fear tactics, including making untrue statements, generalizations, and characterizations, to create contempt and hatred for the specific illegal immigrant.

They control 99% of the radio media, but not TV.  Well the left used to control 99% of TV, but Fox has put a stop for that for sure.

The thing about it is Fox is bashed so much and a good deal of the time rightfully so.  But thier ratings just squash the other outlets.
