And don’t forget, a racist (borderline racist at the very least) who, until a few months ago, had never been proud of her country.
I find it unfathomable how on one side you have man who has given so much to his country (much more than 99.99% of us) and then on the other side you have “I have never been proud of my country.”

How long will wind, solar or other alternatives take? We have to look long term and if that is ten years, we still need to do it. If Bill Clinton and his energy secretary Bill Richardson would have done so, we would be in a better situation now. Keep in mind that even if hybrid car production increased dramatically, not everyone will be able to pay the $400-$500 monthly stroke needed to get one. That leaves us mostly dependent on oil for the next ten to twenty years. We need the all-of-the-above approach IMO.

Michelle, whose salary for a "non-profit" hospital coincidentally tripled to around $316,000 when her husband became a senator. She was also placed on board of directors at Tree House Foods where she worked part-time and received compensation valued at another $100,000. If her husband was not an earmarking senator, these opportunities would not have happened. I guess he was able to dramatically "CHANGE" his wife's income as a senator. Dirty politician, just like the rest of 'em. Don't believe the hype, he is filthy.

Yes John McCain is not running against B.O.’s baby’s mama. I was merely pointing out the fact that Michelle said she had never been proud of her country when one of the thousands (if not millions) of reasons to be proud was running against her husband for the white house.
Thank you for your service. Without men like you our country wouldn’t be what it is today. But surely you can agree that 99.99% of the American population have not come close to giving as much of themselves to the

Since Sept. 13, Palin’s unfavorables have climbed from 30 percent to 36 percent. Meanwhile, her favorables have slipped from 52 percent to 48 percent. That’s a three-day net swing of -10 points, and it leaves her in the Sept. 15 Diageo/Hotline tracking poll tied for the smallest favorability split (+12) of any of the Final Four. Over the course of a single weekend, in other words, Palin went from being the most popular White House hopeful to the least.
What happened? I’d argue that Palin’s considerable novelty is starting to wear off. In part it’s the result of a steady stream of unhelpful stories: her unfamiliarity with the Bush Doctrine during last Thursday’s interview with Charles Gibson … her refusal to cooperate with the Troopergate investigation; her repeated stretching of the truth on everything from earmarks to the Bridge to Nowhere to the amount of energy her state produces. That stuff has a way of inspiring disapproval and eroding one’s support.
