300k less than asking price while rezko bought an adjacent empty lot for 625k
i have some good friends but none would buy an adjacent lot on the same day for an undeveloped side lot for 625k --------- After they bought the parcels, Obama and Rezko entered a series of
personal financial arrangements to redivide and improve the lots

fair market value?

I would much rather have Joe Biden as president than Obama, at least Joe has an idea of how the world works and does not want to CHANGE it to suit Pastor Wright and company.
SEE this quote above, these are the people who will continue to let idiots ruin this country. DUDE, Rev. Wright has nothing to do with the mess were in right now. So what is George Bush's excuse??? {{{WAKE THE F*$% UP!!! }}} This election this year is to important for you to think like a moron, we can not afford another day let alone another 4 years with things the way they are. Give Obama a chance.

everytime the mccain camp brings up the elitist charge - the obama camp needs to keep on bringing up the whole mccain doesn't know how many homes he has gaffe - this truly shows that mccain is so out of touch and the old man is forgettful and losing his bearings - all mccain knows how to do is go negative and then when obama camp hits back mccain always runs back to his POW defense ------just because you've been a POW doesn't entitle you the presidency

Koaj - After reading up on the matter and talking to someone from the Chicago area... Obama has done nothing wrong. The people selling the house and adjacent property wanted it sold as a package deal. However, if it was not sold as a package deal then the house property would be more expensive. Obama had asked for advice and if it was properly priced. After Rezko saw the property and the house his wife saw potential in the adjacent lot and decided to purchase the property. Since the owners were able to sell both like they wanted the price on the house was dropped as if it was sold in the package deal. Afterwards when the Obama's wanted to expand their property they contacted Rezko's wife and were able to work out a deal for 1/8 an acre of land for fair market value.
There was already and investigation into this and everything surrounding Obama yet the investigation turned up nothing. It has already been determined there was nothing done wrong here.

ok so a now convicted felon and a state senator enter into a land deal whereby the sen's house price was lowered 300k b/c the felon was going to buy an adjacent lot from the same owner
after the purchases, the felon sold some of the land back to the state senator
mind you, said felon has many, many illinois politicians in his pocket including the governor. he has also helped obama/ayers direct some of state grant money to projects that his friends run (the patient dumping thing from chicago sun times article yesterday)
"potential in the adjacent lot" is chicago speak for "buying a politician" IMO. as long as you find nothing shady about this then im fine with it also
