Take TCJA and the SALT not being done away with completelly and doubling of SD and 65% paid less 5% or so more because of being in the top 1% and then even those were less than 2800.
1% 30K on avg middle income only 800.
So a 1% with 20k 15k MI 10K charitable makes 45k to be itemized
Even then the AMT disallowed most 1% from getting the full SALT
Even the 1% had 90%+ that had a tax cut despite SALT limitation.
This is not overly complicated to understand.
The examples, were there beforehand and the data was there afterwards.

If AI takes off you are doing well - if it doesn’t - you aren’t - it is that simple — right now it is just borrowed money circulating around in your systems - customers borrowing money - companies borrowing money and your government borrowing money - all in the hopes that AI does revolutionise our world - that isn’t a booming economy or an economy that show strength - that is called taking a big gamble for borrowed money ![]()

Again, trying to deflect. Millions of Americans federal tax bills went up a bunch because Trump killed a 103-year-old deduction.
“I paid a lot more in taxes because your party killed a century old deduction” is a fact. You can be insulting about it, but lying and insulting people doesn’t transform facts into lies.
And on inflation, you’re again ignoring the fact that Trump’s policies have caused inflation to go up. You try to move the goalposts by comparing them to Covid-era inflation, but that still doesn’t change the fact that inflation has increased while Trump is president.
And you tell us to take it up with the BLS chief. You mean Trump’s pet because he accused all BLS data of being biased against him, lol. Just gonna ignore that.
It seems you love to tell others stay on topic when they call you on your condescending hypocrisy.
Focus on the topic here then - Project 2025’s premise is a lie. It’s not supported by any case law. It’s not supported by the Constitution.
Trumpy’s widdle pity party is going to be shattered with rulings against him on this one, that’s for sure.

And just like that: ![]()
A federal judge ordered early Thursday that the White House immediately restore access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico, saying that President Donald Trump’s directive barring the three news outlets last week was most likely unconstitutional.

He is correct in that sense that below 4% isn’t high inflation (not even if you don’t compare it to Covid19 = it is also not high compared to normal conditions) - it should easily be manageable - the problem is that your increases in payment doesn’t outpace inflation - it doesn’t even keep up with inflation - one of the main reason it doesn’t - is because it is “man made” - so of course Trump is to blame

Not all types of inflation are equal - therefore it is important to know why it was caused - it also changes how it is to be solved ! The worst kind of inflation is “inflation due to fear of inflation” — because that doesn’t stimulate the markets - so your boss don’t have extra money to raise your paycheck = the market knows tariffs causes inflation - so if you implement tariffs you will get fear of inflation in your markets - I wouldn’t be surprised if your FED can’t lower inflation pressure at all

In pursuit of power, Trump always try to paint free speech as biased and delegitimize journalists who hold government accountable. Project 2025 proposals threaten press freedom in various ways. Investigate news organizations. Kick journalists out of white house. Defund NPR, PBS and voice of America. End protection for whistleblowers. Remove restrictions on media ownership. End protection of internet companies for contents of websites. Repression of any opposition is among characteristics of fascism in government.

Again, the SALT was capped not eliminated. Trump did not eliminate it; Congress passed TCJA and Trump simply signed it. Some even reintroduced SALT as state workarounds.
Again, less than 6% had their taxes go up and on average less than $2800.
Because of the nuances and the overly complicated tax code even someone in the lowest tax bracket could have a tax increase. But even 90% of the top 1% had their tax bills lowered. So, if someone was in the lowest bracket under 25K or so and was one of the less than 1% that had a tax increase because of a unique situation that it not a knock on Congress or Trump in and of itself.
Even in states like NY the increase under the cap was smaller than in TX. For folks to sit around bellyaching about a SALT deduction partial elimination that is a scam of sorts and a subsidization onto other stets is simply disingenuous.
So, far, far more millions had their tax bill reduced. The tax code needs cleaning up and some of the absurd deductions need to be eliminated.
If you cannot parse out the fact that the inflation under Biden reached decades high and are down under Trump that is a you problem.
If you think Trump's policies are making inflation go up you have to say exactly what policies and how and how much -- otherwise it is perception and rhetoric wihtouhg data to back it uo.
If you think the numbers are being finagled for Trump by his 'pet' I assure you all of us in that sector would quickly point it out and show the numbers are bad and what the true numbers are.
So, again you have to be able to back up broad statements that are counter to available evidence with facts and data. Otherwise, it just seems like anti-Trump bellyaching.
So, if you have some exact data present it and we can discuss it.

What exactly is the premise? I have not read it. Have you read it or are you just going by some biased outlet that summarized it or took a portion out of it and twisted it?
So, what exactly is not supported?
