New unpublished ICE stats leaked to Reuters show that only one third of the people booked into ICE jails had any criminal conviction of any kind and 39% of the convictions were for traffic and immigration infractions such as re-entry. 

Sure many are here illegally but most are living criminally free lives.

That cant be true, the GOP and the project 2025 boys seem to think that the US worker if you pay them enough will happily do any job we need in this economy and that increase in labor costs and decrease in productivity will NOT have an inflationary impact NOR an impact on supply, it will be just fine losing the immigrant labor at cut rate pricing workforce.

I mentioned the other day that most all of the produce I purchase has gone up 30-40-50% in price and supply is less as well but hey we are making America great again I guess.

No, Trump said too much water has flowed over the dam for Putin to rejoin G7. And Crimea was not invaded, it was annexed because the people there voted for Ukraine's Russian favoring President who was ousted in an insurrection.

WE WENT BUT WOULDN'T DO IT AGAIN

The boss & I spent a beautiful Saturday morning at Fort Lauderdale beach & left the No Kings protest early. We stayed about 45 minutes.

We really didn't have any expectations and it's basically what you see on TV. People holding signs, someone with a bullhorn screaming so loud you couldn't understand a word coupled with the roar of Seadoos right off shore made it uneventful. 

Cops were on bikes & motorcycles to keep everyone in line & they did a good job. One dude tried to grab a guy's camera but that ended quickly as Fort Lauderdale's finest started to approach them. This one lady made a killing selling ice cream bars/cones from a cooler strapped to the back of her bicycle.

Wouldn't attend another one.

The enforcement has been delayed ANOTHER 90 days for the 3rd time! This is worse than his 2 week timeframe he uses for everything he never gets done.

Sounds like the Tik Tok "national security" risk isn't such a big deal, huh?

There was some crazy shit that took place during Citrus Golem's ego "perade." That's his spelling not mine.

The crowd was dismal. There were tank after tank including one that squeaked like it was going to fall apart along the parade route & our soldiers forced to walk, not march, two and a half miles. Liddle Marco was caught yawning while Whiskey Pete sat there knowing he was watching a disaster in progress. Couch Creamer J D Vance had to let everyone know that not only was it President Sparky's b-day, it was also his wedding anniversary.  Oc course the MC of the event had to thank parade sponsors Coinbase & Lockheed Martin, Palantir & then the UFC logo was splattered all over the Jumbotron screens. A new drink partnered by Anheuser-Busch & UFC's Dana White was hawked with the catchy name, Screamin Freedom.  Meanwhile thousands of Americans attended protests all across the country. But for me, one instance stood out.

Many songs were played during the parade including Fortunate Son. If you don't know the basis for the song, it's about draft dodgers & how the elite were able to avoid the Vietnam war while less "fortunate" Americans were forced to join up or leave the country. 

I can't think of any other song that could have depicted the POS better than that.

According to wikipedia, Russia invaded Crimea and United nations reject Russian propaganda's version of events.  Held at gunpoint, Crimea parliament was forced to surrender.  So referendum to separate from Ukraine and annexation were illegal.  Violating international law and agreements between both countries.  However legal for Ukraine parliament to remove former president who was charged with crimes.  Russia is an autocracy pretending to be a democracy.

The fact alone that Europe agreed to be demilitarised (Germany has until recently had pretty strict rules for remilitarising) and Ukraine accepted having their nukes removed and they agreed to give Russia Crimea (all of this on order from you guys I might add)  - should show clearly who wants peace in the world and who doesnt - even for an idiot like Trump that clearly doesn’t understand the concept of an aggressor in a war

COMING TO A HORSE RACING TRACK NEAR YOU

Yesterday morning masked members of ICE descended on Delta Downs racetrack in Vinton, LA looking for illegal workers. They closed the racetrack backstretch entrance, where the horses are kept, as well as roads nearby. Local police & the Sheriff's office assisted ICE searching for drugs but none were found.

Most of the workers had their H-2B visa documentation but a couple of workers were still waiting for theirs & were hauled away.

With the administration's promise to deport millions, this "nickel & dime "approach will take forever to get the job done. Wasting both federal & local expensive resources for such pathetic results is a losing battle. Meanwhile the horses are left without their caretakers & that sucks.

At the same time, those who overstayed their visas continue to live here without a care in the world of ever being apprehended & returned to their country of origin.

WHAT ARE WE THINKING?

The whole concept of masked men in unmarked vehicles without any identification coming into our houses, our schools, our communities etc. & scooping up people & whisking them away to who the fuck knows where is absolutely insane.

The madness needs to stop!

That take down of the NY mayoral candidate yesterday was pretty lousy, ICE has quotas and now are using schemes to take down immigrants and not give them rights they are entitled to. It is like a crappy tv show watching that slimy loser Adams suck up to Trump and allow ICE to do whatever the crap they want so he wont go to jail for his crimes.

It is pretty telling how quickly and far we have devolved since Trump and project 2025 took over, people are fearing government and his fascist power grab continues unchecked due to his judge stacking and SCOTUS stacking, its almost like we have no balance of power or checks against authoritarianism and it will take something serious to finally force the TNC lapdogs to stop Trump and his rampage against the rights of ALL citizens even those here seeking citizenship.
