It's Halftime America

That was my favorite superbowl commercial. It's half time America,  where do we go from here ? Divide or unite ?

Well keep in mind that Clint Eastwood is a very strong willed man of principle, so I don't think he needs the money. Maybe he is as greedy as the others who knows, but the message was clear to me. Unite !... and also Buy America

Hopefully obama is at the two minute warning of his fifteen minutes of fame. And it unfortunately appears that America is well beyond halftime as well.

Its not an American car so to speak....not many are what with imported parts and such. It does employee American workers as does Toyota and other "foreign" car companies.

They are required to show part content and the % of parts made in what country....check the sticker on the inside of the driver door and you will see.

I also know many small machine shops that got stiffed when Chrysler went into bankruptcy. Too big too fail for the big guys but the # of smaller shops and the # of employees affected at those smaller shops may just have outnumbered the too big too fail union jobs that the govt saved at the expense of non union mom and pop shops that employee most people in the industry

Unite we should I agree but I dont think we have a Uniter in Chief at the moment and dont think we will after the next election regardless of the outcome

True but.....

Dems who defend Obama on not being able to be a uniter in this political environment suffer from the short term memory loss of criticizing Bush for not being the same.

With that being said, the country is too divided for a uniter to exist.
