Um, how about Dodd/Frank?
How about Sarbanes/Oxley?
How about Obamacare (To comply with just one of the hundreds of new regulations in the President's health insurance law, CKE will be forced to spend approximately $1.5 million to replace all restaurant menus)

Please enlighten us all to all the regulations that say a company like nike who uses slave labor to make their products was burdened with here in our country.

And why would you care if they took seperate planes home anyway. I'm sure whatever the cost is pales in comparison to what the Iraq occupation costs for one month. I don't see you blaming your God George Dubya Bush for blowing all that money.

And what we've spent in Iraq in 8 years is what we spend each year on Social Security and medicare.

Come on now...let's say you marry a woman who had just divorced Bush and you inherited the government and it's debt problems and expenses as your household.

The fact is, you have to sort of finish some of the stuff that Bush and people well before him started. You can't just walk in the white house and say pull everyone out of Iraq STAT, stop the 40% overage in spending TODAY, and reform an age-old government system THIS INSTANT.

As Obama has said, and anyone the fuck else would, it's a PROCESS. What is important is not what happened today, but what steps are being taken as groundwork for the future.

With that said, it's ridiculous for you to say, because Obama's administration is spending a lot that they are entirely responsible for it.

The US spends 300 billion a month when it only makes 180 billion/month. You think those numbers just came out of fucking nowhere?

It takes YEARS to get out of a situation like that....YEARS.

Obama has taken zero steps to curb federal spending.
None.
President Barack Obama released a $3.73 trillion budget for fiscal-year 2012. As a comparison: In 2007, federal expenditures reached $2.73 trillion

The Democrats controlled congress from January 2007, and Obama was in said Congress, until January 2011.

They own the spending.

Bush...turned it around.

Bush spent more in his presidency than ALL of his priors COMBINED, and then created such a massive snowball that it would take a TREMENDOUS amount of time to turn things around.

If we weren't in the middle of a bunch of Wars that Bush started in pursuit of OIL, Obama wouldn't have had to spend half as much as he has.

How do people not see this?

People are often confused and retarded in the present but 'brilliant' in hindsight.

You think anyone cares about a 55% approval rating?

I can bet you that 75% of Americans would not be able to name ten people in the state senate, or the house of representatives, and you have the nerve to bring up an approval poll.

Yes, that's what I said and I'll say it again. Clinton had Bin Laden handed to him on a platter more than once and passed, he was the beneficiary of the internet boom, which he really had little to do with, and left the country in a recession.

Bush had to deal with 9-11 and nonetheless grew the economy for 50 straight months, a record. After 2006, with a Democrat Congress demanding huge spending increases and installing policies that created the housing bubble, the economy started to tank. As much as Bush spent (which was way too much), it still wasn't enough to satisfy the Dems (which means it would have been worse if they had control) AS IT IS NOW.

Obama has made things way worse, sorry that's a fact. He's an incompetent idealogue or worse, but regardless an unmitigated disaster.
