Do you want to work for -0- I think not. You hafta have a liveable wage.
Who said -0- is the choice? Nobody suggested anyone work for nothing. Show me where that was one of the options
You cant have an argument based on things nobody suggested.
Markets do a great job of setting PROPER wages.
The way guys like you and CD talk you would think that there are no jobs at all. NOT TRUE. I know plenty of people that work here in this got damn country and make decent money LONG TERM.

First off you might want to go check your numbers on how much oil we actually have. secondly energy companies already got new forms of energy, but they arent gonna release those until they use up every last drop of oil on the planet. Why would they. Am sure this is way over your head to understand thou.
cant believe i missed this one.
you completely contradicted and made yourself look like an idiot in the same post. thats something i havent seen anyone on here do in hours.
bowlshit said "We have enough supply under our feet to last 100 years"
i dont know how you thought he said we have a 100yr supply of oil. are you and stlin the same person bc you are the only two who continually completely misread other peoples posts. but heres the kicker, in your VERY NEXT SENTENCE, you prove bowlshits post, that there is more energy here besides oil.
if you believe that energy companies arent going to sell their supplies of natural gas to the marketplace until oil is completely gone, then i hope to hell you are for more companies drilling for natural gas. surely you know about supply and demand forces, well theres a good chance you dont, but take my word, as someone who has passed 8th grade, for it.
and dont you find it a little humurous that you are taking a shot at someones intelligence?

I hate to imply that cd and stiln are aliases because they constantly misread posts....na...I'm not gonna get involved in the childish, old, unimaginative game of blaming aliases. Thats what they resort to when they run out of good points to counter.
Feds give out road money based on LAST YEARS expendatures.
Do some of you guys not see the potential for massive exploitation and waste?

The drawbacks of LNG have to be dealt with and the price manipulation has to be stopped before it becomes anything close to servicable.
dont claim to be an expert on LNG or CNG for that matter, but i know there are vehicles that use them and, according to the experts, theres a whole lot of gas here in america.
the following isnt directed at you, but, generally speaking, i just wish there was just 1/10 of the uproar about corn price manipulation, as there is energy manipulation.

do you even read what others or even yourself writes?
why would bowlslit need to check his numbers on oil, when he never made any assertion about oil???? this may be over your head, but heres an analogy: if you are at a buffet and someone says theres a enough food here to last 1 week, why would you respond, did you see how few pasta is left? you see, our different forms of energy is the buffet, and pasta is oil. the pasta/oil is running low, but theres a whole lot of other food/energy sources to last a long time.
bowlsit simply said we have 100 years worth of ENERGY, which we do and which you also concurred in this thread.
i never said you didnt want to see more oil/gas companies. please let me know why you think i said this?
surely you dont think thie quote "then i hope to hell you are for more companies drilling for natural gas." means youve previously said you do not want more drilling companies.
i was merely pointing out the fact that many liberals are anti drilling and youve stated your belief that you think energy companies wont tap into their gas fields until oil is gone. thus, given that those two stances are incongruous (contrary), if you hold the later belief, you must be for more drilling.

Oil has pipelines, refineries, infrastructure. LNG/CNG/NG has none of the above, plus where it is captured often is in remote locations.
Aside from that obstacle, we have a massively large transporation system, nowhere near enough stations are equipped to sell the product.
CNG/LNG/NG cannot be stored the same effective way in the tank as unleaded/diesel is, so you cannot go as far on a "tank" as you can with gas, so you need more locations in theory..plus it is not serviceable to large transport vehicles as easily due to capacity.
Then you have the recent history of massive manipulation in the commodities pits..the same or worse would happen without a doubt.
Its a huge long shot at best to think CNG/LNG has a chance.
