Now that the FBI is done investigating random foreigners for the unlawful distribution of Facebook memes, maybe they can spare a couple agents to follow up on credible warnings of imminent school shootings.

• 1 died but was intent unknown

Every day, 222 people are shot and survive:

• 164 injured in an attack
• 10 survive a suicide attempt
• 45 shot unintentionally
• 3 are shot in a legal intervention

I have a great idea. Why don't we take the $500,000,000 we give Planned Parenthood every year & use it to hire armed security guards for schools.

There was a failure of local school administration, local law enforcement, local mental health and federal agents.

What laws would prevent the incompetence surrounding this particular shooting.

 

K.....that is a link to japan gun control? Are you suggesting the us should follow japans model? So collect all guns save a few long rifles and handguns from law abiding citizens, hope the criminals have a change of heart and hand over all their guns.  Then give police sweeping powers re: stop and frisk. 

I cant see that working too well in the usa. I think the chances of street gangs handing over all their firearms is naive. The left is up in arms over the current state of policing, granting them additional powers will not go over well in some communities.
