According to US constitution, cities aren't legally obliged to assist enforcement of immigration laws which are federal responsibilities. In sanctuary cities, illegal immigrants aren't really protected. Federal agents can still arrest illegals in sanctuary cities. If illegals commit other crimes, they can still be arrested by local police.
Courts have blocked Trump's illegal order to withhold funds from sanctuary cities because his order violates 5th and 10th amendments. About 300 US jurisdictions including cities, counties and states adopt sanctuary policies. According to Center for American progress, crime rate is lower and economy is stronger in sanctuary counties.

It definitely makes a difference who it is making false statements to the FBI... Disgraceful double-standard, how can anyone not see this is even more ridiculous.
I wish Flynn would've deleted 33k emails after being subpoenaed to turn them over - I'm sure that would've been just another example of the same.
