Detox's political thread

Youtuber Sargon of Akkad had a debate at some atheist conference a few weeks ago where his leftist opponent essentially outed himself as a white supremacist. Both of them are atheists, but apparently there's a rift in the atheist community between SJWs and anti-SJWs. At one point, Sargon was explaining the flaws of affirmative action and advocating for a system based on merit, and his opponent literally said, "we can't have a meritocracy, because then white men would control everything."

Leftists literally believe that the white race is the only race capable of achieving anything based on merit, and that other races are incapable of achieving and therefore need everything handed to them. They believe the exact same thing as the alt-right, they just have different solutions (the alt-right's solution is a white ethno-state, and the far-left's solution is communism).
