Extra-marital affairs are the top concern for people that work in classified state. The reason is more simple than one would think.....generally speaking, one affair leads to more and enticing and provocative women are clamoring to use their <clearing throat>, 'charm' to obtain information.
The FBI would always investigate the CIA for obvious reasons.

Lets see ... Conspiracy theory #1 : Petraeous called an end to the Benghazi cover-up and resigned after first telling his wife, to escape the black-mail hanging over his head......
If marital infidelity were grounds for dismissal, half of congress would have to step down. It was said by some during the presidential election that Petraeus was the person responsible for turning down the request for more security and troops in Libya. Perhaps he's falling on his sword to take responsibility for the killing of the American ambassador there.

I understand that since you live in a country with no military secrets, the idea of security clearances is foreign to you. As I said above, almost all security breaches through the years have been the result of 'extra-curricular' activities. Just be thankful you live in a country where thanks to our protection, you don't need to worry about such things.
As an aside, I notice you have not returned to the thread where you attacked Obama for the drop in the dow, ignoring the 70% increase during his presidency. Perhaps you got sidetracked researching Canada's relevence to world history. It would be understandable. The other day, I spent 12 hours looking for a needle in a haystack.
