The Huey P. Newton Gun Club is linked to the Indigenous
People’s Liberation Party, a group associated with the African People’s
Socialist Party-USA (APSP). In 1982, APSP founded the African National
Reparations Organization.
Outnumbered and outgunned, BAIR decided to cancel its protest.
“This is what they fear—the black man,” activist Olinka Green told The Dallas Morning News. “This is what America fears.”
