You can tell I don't play ANY cards (only played hold'em once in my life for a charity event). When TeddyKGB says "table stakes" after Damon doubles the blinds, what does that mean?

Yeah I remember that. I LOVED that movie but the poker scenes were awful. Correct me if Im wrong but later in the film Bond loses with quads against a Royal. After his co-workers (spies, whatever) were like, "you got cocky bond, you overplayed the hand" and its like HUH??????????? The guy had fucking quads, Im payin off a Royal EVERY FUCKING TIME with quads, especially when only three of the royal is on the board, its not like he only needed 1 card for the Royal.
Awesome movie and i hope I didnt butcher the story. If I did someone please call me out on it

Yeah, that $10 Million buy in game at the end was retarded. I would've gotten pissed and suspicious of the dealer if the hands played out that way. They should have taken the opportunity to make it a little better. You'd think hollywood would learn by now with all the ways they depict poker in films.

Agree, but in actuality, he lost with AK and the board was A-J-K-J-A. Bond had Aces full, and the villian had four Jacks
