No offense intended but you shouldn't need a calculator to determine what pot odds you're getting.
all you have to do is divide what you have to put in to call in relation to the pot size.
Example the pot is 2750 and you get raised 900 (2750 divided by 900 is just over 3 to 1 odds)
And yes most regular players use software like PokerTracker or Hold'em Manager to track other players tendencies. There is a free program called Poker Stove that will give you percentages of hands you input into it.
Example say you wanted to see what percent you have to win with AK off vs XX on a Ah3h7c board.
