Payout help

I deposited a $2000 dollar check into my Usbank account and they called me to ask where it came from. I didn't tell them anything and they're now withholding it under investigation for money laundering.  Should I just call up the sportsbook website and cancel the check or wait it out to see where the investigation goes.  I'm just concerned they'll keep my check and not give me my funds. 

Should have just cashed it!

They'd still ask where it came from and he'd still have to prove it to continue using that bank, even if they only gave him cash.

Never been asked "where it came from" when I have cashed checks...Your bank must be strict!
