ESPN and the poker sites

This big corp (ESPN) made deals with this companies and I I was just wondering don't they have people who investigate this companies before they go into business with them? So I was wondering  will ESPN be in trouble with the DOJ too?  What are this  pro players from the US gonna do know  they don't have sponsors?
