People are constantly smiling at a poker table.

One of the key ways to detect deception is to determine whether that smile is genuine or fake (i.e. player is actually strong or bluffing).

Although tells are only a small part of the game, they can be a determinant in your call/fold/raise when all else fails and you decided to go with something other than your gut. (This is one of the reasons I will always favor live poker over online poker).

Take this test and see how you well you detect genuine smiles and fake smiles.

YES 100% agree tells are great and a sure way to increase your winnings even at large stakes games like the $150 - $300 wagers

either game 7 stud or holdem

MY friends play poker when in Vegas and they are very aware of people actions noises etc..

BUT some people are actors or tell less they are mummies they hardly blink an eye

the books by Mike caro are great i'd read them if you get a chance
