I hate when i get check raised allin on the river and i have something like a straight with a flush or boat poss out there, or im value betting top pair or 2 pair. I always end up paying it off and i'd say 80% they got me beat, but im just to curious or think there's a chance my hand could be good. Im starting to think maybe i should just fold everytime im check raised allin on the river. I just want to hear others opinions. I know every circumstance is different, but like said, i think long term this could be profitable. and im just talkin about check raises all in on the river

tell u 1 thing though is online poker is totally dif then how i would play it in real life . Most of time ill fold hands i might of poushed on dependin on my stack

This is quite easy. Never bet they river if you aren't willing to call a raise.
I don't agree with this AT ALL. There are plenty of times you will have the best hand and they will just call you down and you will miss a lot of profit by playing that weak. Awful, awful, advice.

Are you retarded. If you have a read on your opponent and are value betting then fuck yeah bet the river, but if you think there's a chance you get raised why risk it. If you're playing low limit then its different but if your sitting in a bigger game and theres 2ooo in the pot and you have 4-5000 in front of you are really gonna risk betting the river without the nuts and risk getting check raised. Guys like you last about 2 weeks in vegas. just dumb

Your wording is poor. What is wrong with getting raised if you are almost sure you have the best of it? Nothing. If you think there is a decent chance you are beat and expect to get raised whether you are beat or not, then you certainly would be less likely to bet (in hopes you might be able to check it down or maybe only have to call). But that is different then just saying, "don't bet if you think you might get raised" like you state above. Semantics I know, but still.
Bottom line is, you certainly have to be careful when you are putting your chips at risk on the river and when you're in close hands and you're not sure where you are at, you don't want to give someone an opportunity to shove you out of a pot when you think you might have a chance to win it by betting foolishly on the river.
