cheating software

ok i myself dont play much online poker maybe a small tourney here and there but a buddy of mine plays quite abit. he said the other day he had a guy at the table tell him he could sometimes see his cards. my buddy then started looking thru search engines and found the type of software saying you can see other players cardshe was quoting me reviews of course from the website trying to sell this software and he wants to try it. i told him it was either a waste or the website he plays at would recognise it and ban him. what do you guys here at covers think about it? is the software just a ripoff? does the poker sites recognise this software?

yeah i thats what i told him , i mean if you could do that it would be all over news and no one would play online. he just seen too many bad beat type hands

Why would you buy the "software" and play online?

I bought a pair of glasses about 6 years ago that allow me to see through most plastic playing cards [kem, copag, bicycle etc.] and i've been making profit ever since. You can only see the rank and color of the card [like a red ace] but hey its alot better than nothing.
