I'm thinking of going to Vegas for a week. I was wondering if the casinos in Vegas offer fixed limit hold 'em games like 6-12, 8-16, or 20-40. Thank you in advance for your answer to my question.

In the SF bay area, there is one place that has all of the limits, including a $1 - $2 limit game. Of course you get the broke dicks playing that, who have a $10 buy-in, but they also have a jackpot which is any quads (or str. flush) beaten, all hole cards must play, and it goes up to $100K. This jackpot is for all of the limits so the $1 - $2 can be a cheap shot for the jackpot.

I KILLED the 1-3 limit game at Caesars last week, after I tipped the waitress I was only stuck six bucks.

a normal rule of thumb is you normally need around 20 - 30 big bets as a buy in
I always buy in for 30 big bets no matter what when I play limit
So thats $1,800
But alot of guys bought in for $1,000 straight up....and just reloaded as needed
