you've inspired me to play better poker. i do think its possible to be a winning player, but it seems it starts with being selective on what kinds of games you play. instead of donking my money away in larger $ and larger # fields i'm focusing on sitngos (single table) for smaller $ and am going to grind and see how that goes.

exactly, you have to find the game that YOURE good at. With me, its 1-on-1s. I could probably be a successfull full ring cash game player but Im not so sure, Im a real impatient person and that impatience tends to get the best of me at times thats why 1-on-1s are perfect for an action junkie like me. I can play solid poker and get my fix on in a 1-on-1 whereas playing "solid pker" in a full ring game takes killer patience and discipline, which I will freely admit I do not have
