I meant to say "me thinks" your a fucking loser! lol
1) yeap, learned this myself the hard way..... if you selectively try to "ride the hot capper", you will lose.....
2) when you are tailing posters on the forums, they always post at random times. unless you are a degenerate that is refreshing the forum pages constantly, you will miss out on picks by a poster you are tailing.
3) NEVER tail someone who does not post a running record and total unit profit. plenty of clowns come onto this site, win 5 or 6 in a row and all of a sudden they are posting "stars".... then reality hits, they lose 6 in a row and they are gone...

GameHunter: your post on baseball handicapping is classic! ..... you had an off year last season, but that does not mean the principles in your handicapping post are invalidated. It simply means that your own personal filters that you used to apply those principles were off last season. Don't let the retards who don't understand the difference deter you. Good luck this year!

I though they were separate, but in the baseball contest, if you look at pre-season records, (example, 30-20, +5000 units), covers includes pre-season as 2010-2011 record so far. I know regular season is separate contest, but do they reset the 2010-11 personal player tallies, or all baseball (pre/post/reg) is included.
Reason I ask is that you can find a few consistent winners past 2/3 years there, but if they had monster pre-seasons/post seasons, and they are included in stats for 2010, it can be misleading; then you'd have to disect how they fared each category.

Gamehunter has always posted a very accurate unit total for the season. The main point is, don't listen to anyone who is not an established, respected poster. Like i said, there will be plenty of newbies that come on, hit 8 or 9 in a row, then all of a sudden they are "stars", when in reality they just hit a lucky streak. see this happen all the time

..... and i actually don't tail GH. he plays too many games for my liking... as previously mentioned, if you are tailing someone, its an all or none proposition, otherwise you are setting yourself up for failure

because, if someone has a great year, usually they tank big time the next. Or vica-versa. Just look up history for, lets say the top 50 from last years contest ( any sport) and look at them the year b4. 9 times out of 10 you see something like +50k ats, year before -38k ats, or something to that effect. Which solidifies the really remarkable point how hard it is to consistently win from year to year.
