Well if you can’t remember what you paid in LA a year ago how would you know? I didn’t use egg prices. I was simply using it because that it what he was talking about. But sure, you can use whatever you want to use if it affects you. People spend a lot on food and eggs are a big part of that. So if egg prices are going up and not down, it does not matter if it is avian flu or not. People will be upset with who is in charge, period.
Well then either you don’t care enough or you use a website like yours and hope their data is correct
And I ain’t doubting you are correct that people would be mad about it and blame who is in charge - that is just the human mind for you
Like here where Slim started out all happy giving Trump credit for all these “wins” which is of course nice in the short term if they are correct
but hotel prices and gasoline prices going down etc. is mostly due to demand for it going down - so hotel prices = less tourism = less money coming in - and tourism money is actually the “best” money you can get
gasoline prices = less people going to work or not going out to spend money (is the most obvious explanation but it could also be you guys have started producing more - I don’t know ? As I really don’t care - but it is a bit weird to praise him for stuff that might just as well be bad signs)

Or yeah as DeezyAZ81 rightfully pointed out - stuff that has nothing to do with Trump - not that he can’t affect prices both positively and negatively
and btw thanks Deezy for checking up on the source I could have done that if I wasn’t that lazy - so yeah do you still hold the belief they get their data from average transactions - done on nation level when they in the writing says it is the prices the store pay ? Or have you moved an inch closer believing the truth as I told you - that it is data they get from a source that is government controlled to a large extent ?

Hotel prices for sure are demand related if that is the case. I haven’t checked on their prices. So I have no idea. But gas prices is not solely a demand issue. For example, in the USA, and even in the northern hemisphere, this is the travel time. The USA just had a record breaking travel holiday and summer time is coming. So, that is not demand as much as other factors. Gas, will normally go up in summertime. The question is will it go up as much as it did last year or not. Etc., etc.

Sure, some may and some may not. But as time goes back and things get worse from his policies, he gets the blame; as time goes by and they get better, he gets the credit.
I am not how much overall credit you can give him after 5 full months, or even 2 months or anticipatory credit after the election. But it is the same with a CEO if the stock price goes up or down. Even if his policies are not a direct causal factor— he gets credit or blame.

You are correct that demand changes depending on a lot of factors — but prices are always affected by and set by supply and demand. And it is never good if the gas prices is declining due to demand - but it is if it is due to supply --- so that was my point that unless Slim. has studied if it is due to supply or demand that the prices are lower - you can't tell if it is good or not - I haven't checked it and don't really care that much how gas prices going over there (just like I can't think many of you want to hear the yearly change in gas prices in Denmark) - so I can't personally tell if it is good or bad -- but most often it is due to demand and that is bad

And if there is special events happening in the summer that affect its price you would just compare this summer with last summer - but there can be a BILLION things affecting it - so no you can't say that either he is doing a good or bad job if the prices are lower or higher - but Slim. put these facts out like they were equal to Trump doing a good job because they were lower - and you can't say if he has or not without going into the numbers and see why they are lower or higher
The most reliable indicator is the value of the dollar - that is the most pure indication of how a country is doing - and comparing that value to the politics at that given time - if it is intentional or not that it rise or fall (Hint: Trump would prefer it to rise with the international politics he has put forth)

Yessir. You always want as even a comparison as you can get. Then if you can isolate out the causes for the difference, fine. Then if you can reasonably attribute them to a CEO or President based on policy, etc., fine.
But the comparisons have to be accurate to start with. My only point is that anecdotal and isolated instances are not. Whereas, the standard sampling that economists use are.

FYI to all, I paid $2.39 for gas in Aurora Colorado today..additionally, went to store Sunday and saw noticeably lower prices on several items..Significantly, lower at that ..
Prices are Definitely lowering..Give it some time..now if only Jerome Powell would lower interest rates, Trumps Economy would really take off

I am actually curious what policy change Trump has made that you think would affect the economy in a positive way? Not saying you are lying just curious
And
Given how much the money supply has expanded recently in your country (how much money you print), it's actually a good thing that interest rates haven't been cut. If rates were lowered too soon, it could trigger high inflation or even destabilize the currency.

And if you go into stagflation which it looks like you will at some point during the next couple of years - interest rates is one of the only thing you can adjust on trying to make the situation better (most often it doesn’t solve the problem but at that point you don’t have much choice than to try) and it is hard adjusting a low interest rate to the better in that situation

You are drowning economically (not because of Trump exclusively but because you have borrowed too much money through the years) - and Trump and Jerome is basically just discussing if the death should be fast and swift - or they should line the rescue boats up and hope the sharks have a good day when the boat sinks

Not when it is 2.5 times more expensive than here in the US.
Our gasoline sales has been a steady 51-52 billion gallons per month since May of 2023.
Added: do see a peak of 57 billion gal, Sept 2023, and steady after that.

Knowing you guys - I would doubt you would hear about it if we were cheaper than you - you guys seem to be very defensive every time I take up sectors etc. where we own you - which is most of them

You don't own us, your government owns you! Incredible tax rates, even have to pay a license fee for TV and internet. Incredible.
There are billion sites on the web that compare the “true” tax between our nations (because they can’t fathom we get so much from our tax “dollars” and you get so little) - and you actually lose more of your paycheck every month
My government own me ? The difference between our government is that I want them to be invested in making me thrive - you guys want to avoid your government - which I can understand - your government wants to hurt you - so you can’t even fathom the idea that it could be a good thing (I like my government - why shouldn’t I ? They only interfere in my life when I need them and then they help me and then they are out as fast as they came into my life - they are like the invisible web that makes sure I can live the life I want)

I just checked what a gallon is (I use metric like the rest of the world) - a gallon of gasoline would be 60 DKK ish that is 9 dollars I think - I don’t if that is expensive or not - most of us also have electric cars

Btw lower gasoline prices as I have stated a billion times by now is often a bad sign of a countries economy - esp. If you don’t produce it a lot yourself which we don’t - so is it really a burn or not - you tell me ?

Is that the highest number you know or what - I am confused - btw it is actually pretty funny for an outsider looking in how retarded those that have made your guys system think you are
1) You call a liquid “gas”
2) There is 24 hours in a day - but they had to split it in 2x12 else you guys can’t count to it and understand the concept
3) they had to redo pretty much every measurement - so you could understand it :)
Hehe so retarded man - you are all the kid from special class

1. Gas is short for gasoline. And while gasoline does have it's roots in the word gas, the definition of gas it refers to would be synonymous with fuel, as opposed to the state of matter. And quite frankly, even if referring to the state of matter, gasoline partially exists in a gaseous state. I looked up what you guys call gas. Benzin, which comes from Benzine, a catch-all term with it's roots in the compound Benzene, which is unrelated to the stuff that makes cars go vroom.
2. I hate to break it to you but the 12-hour clock predates the formation of out country ever so slightly. Like by thousands of years. Breaking up the day into 12 hour periods is natural, and a better system in many ways, though the 24 clock does have advantages in a modern, digitized, computer oriented world.
3. Again, a history lesson. Out system of measurement has existed for quite some time. The metric system is the "redo". The metric system is simple system for the simple minded. We're quite content with our complicated system of measurements based on things like the size of some dudes feet. We have no issue counting past 10, nor dividing numbers not based on 10.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!
