I can't remember if it's you or Slimboy I had this conversation with before, but for an insult to work, both the sender and the receiver need to agree that it's an insult. In this case, both you and I would need to agree that being gay makes said person lesser worth. I know you do, but I don't. Just as I don't think you are less worth if you are black or a women - so yeah I call them black! Therefore, a conversation between you and me - 'gay' can't be used as an insult; for me it's just a word for a guy who likes having sex with other guys. Like we discussed earlier with 'Janteloven', it doesn't change anything for me if he is gay or not. It's your brain that makes it worse if he is gay. I think he acts like a gay person with a crush on his daughter. If it turns out he is, he's just a gay loser rather than just a loser to me. It doesn't change anything else.
