They have been literally fighting? 2014 Putin invaded Crimea. The eastern part of Ukraine had revels that been fighting that do not want Russia to occupy their country. 

You stating where was your interest then? Well first, the interest was there. Not sure where you were. But Ukraine had a pro russion president and Putin invaded after the Olympics cause Americans were too busy propping up their own economical struggles and Obama was clueless to what was happening.

Germany signed the gas deal and the war eventually stopped.

Ukrainians got rid of the corrupt Russian leader in Ukraine and things were moving along nicely until last year.

Majority of Russians abroad are doing the right thing and stepping down or selling their interest in the western world. As we saw from the Soccer owner there have been tons of people doing the same. NHL players need to do the same. 

You all clearly lack understanding of why, but most of the Russians do which is good.

Even if they are allowed to play. Very doubtful they return to the NHL as it will be almost impossible for them to get to the USA/Canada or even get a permit in coming weeks.

 Everything I said is true! Ukraine is corrupt and is letting NATO into Ukraine and with NATO troops on a Russia’s border it’s a huge security risk because NATO has ravaged that whole region! So if Putin takes Ukraine it gets NATO off of his doorstep and he’s destroying the US bio labs...

Russia and Fox news have been promoting disinformation to justify unprovoked invasion.  However vast majority of countries in United nations voted to condemn invasion with only 4 countries supporting Russia.  Claim of US bio labs producing weapons has been debunked by fact checkers politifact, snopes and USA today.  Actually, US has partnered with many countries for public health research to detect and prevent infectious diseases.  Since Russia is now targeting civilians, access to water and electricity has been terminated in some areas of Ukraine.

War is brutal, ugly, and I for one sure as hell don't want it to happen. IMO, this could have been avoided. This was no sneak attack, Putin let the world know he was serious about his grievances. Wether justified or not they should have been addressed more than they were.

When US Intel said the invasion would start on Wednesday, Zelensky mocked it. What a stupid thing to do.

So was shutting down TV stations last year that criticized him. That is what communism is, silencing opinions of others. We see it in China, we see it in Russia, we saw in last year in Ukraine, we see it from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and we see it promoted by posters here!
