I think NFL players and coaches would have to be the best actors on earth for it all to be rigged. The only chance of rigging is maybe paying off a random player or ref here or there. It would be ludicrous for the league to do that. It’s on probably about 10-15% of games, especially prime time games and games involving certain players/markets that the league wants to push. There’s no point in having Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Washington and Detroit represent your respective AFC/NFC Championship games. But yeah of course you have to let some of these markets reach sometimes.
