Also cracks me up when people use bad analogies since there really isn't any downside putting on a seatbelt while there can be with having loaded guns around the house.
The argument of people making bombs to compensate for not having guns is also laughable.

Are you really this dumb? It’s no wonder you’re boxed. Just because you’re not smart enough to understand something doesn’t make it bad. My point was life is unpredictable and I prepare for that as best I can. It’s not that difficult a concept to understand (at least for people with an IQ over 75).
Yes, clearly the idea of a psycho using bombs to carry out mass murder is “laughable.” 
Wake up, dumba$$. There are many places online where people can find how to make bombs using household materials and stuff they can pick up at a hardware store. Also things like this have happened at schools before there was the internet. You might want to educate yourself before you embarrass yourself further.
The only reason I’m in this thread is because it was originally in the GD. Beating you up intellectually just isn’t doing it for me anymore so this will be the last time I read this thread.

Another thing you dimwit.
It's all about accessibility and familiarity. When mommy and daddy teaches you how to shoot a gun and you feel comfortable with it always shooting cans out back or at the local firing range, one day little Johnny, feeling suicidal and hatred for society (and who doesn't at least once in their life) and decides today is the day what do you think the first weapon of choice will be? You think he is gonna go figure out how to make a bomb, pick up a kitchen knife. No bozo, he's gonna use the most effective and familiar killing tool he has at his disposal which is a gun.
