Russia and China love Trump.

Trump is doing what they don’t have to.

And the GOP legislature sits quietly hoping Elon doesn’t decide to primary them out of their seat of power.

We are NATO. It is very much a one-way street. Frankly, and alliance with Russia serves us much more that most most, if not all of our alliances.

Maybe we should be ecstatic. I, for one, am not ecstatic at the notion of the Ukrainian people getting decimated in a proxy war they can not win, simply to fund the United States military industrial complex. The whole cold war existednto pump trillions of dollars into the military industrial complex, amassing arms, most of which never had any chance of being used. All for money. We remade governments, entire regions, installed puppet leadership, and "fought communism". The Soviet Union, the Middle East, the Balkans, Central/South America, "fighting communism", "fighting for freedom", all to funnel money into defense contractors. You're damn right they hate the EU because of us and not the other way around. As I have said many times, what reason is there to hate Denmark? What reason is there to hate the Netherlands?

I'm in the middle of something and can't go much deeper but basically we fought along aside of them. Then our government decided we needed to "fight communism". And the rest is history. Tmwe amassed arms. They amassed arms. The cold war never became a boots on the ground hot war. We fought them by support other governments, in proxy wars. Afghanistan, for example. After the events of the 21st century, does that make any sense? Putin is not a good person. Far from stance is to leave the business of Slavic countries to Slavic countries. It's not like Ukraine is some historical ally. We pushed them into a proxy war, which they can't win, against our enemy, who is really only our enemy so that we had an excuse to pump money into defense. The resason I say Russia is a better alliance is because a world where we have a semblance of peace is a better and safer world for almost all parties. 

And ye a world without conflicts and war is the best place - and should be what we strive towards - but this world we have now - is basically because US vs China + Russia has a dick measurement going on and the rest of us are just muppets following one of these 3 as you said- But that some of you guys even for a remote second think it is ok to ask Ukraine to repay you are laughable - what Trump is basically doing is asking the guy in the school yard that just got beaten up for standing up for him - for the money he borrowed last week for karate lessons 

I mean, i'm just finding out Ukraine has rare earth minerals. Was that what this was all about? China, out real enemy, controls something like +80% of rare earth minerals. Was are plan to leave Ukraine demoralized and depleted, and then deebo their rare earth minerals? This war, like the entire cold war, is all a farce.

I ask anyone who is interested to just read, and think critically. Ask yourselves,

Why is Russia really our enemy?

Has the world benefitted by being caught in the middle, and forced to choose sides?

Are we safer how, after our massive accumulation of arms to defend ourselves against made up, comic book villain enemies, then we would be if we just tried diplomacy?

What does it really mean to fight communism? Seeing as how so many of our wars/military activities since WW2 seem to revert back to this.

Some of these pursuits were valid. I think the Korean war was valid, and the current state of existence in South Korea supports this. So much of what we have done though is absolute bullshit.

Ukraine has received billions.  When asked to show how money was spent... they could not show where some of the billions went.  Smart move on orange man's part.
