In other news, the Bears 1st rd pick Rome Odunze is getting an mri done on his knee. POS Velus Jones who many argued shouldn't even be on the roster, ran into him while getting tackled. Velus Jones also muffed a kickoff yesterday. Luckily the D held the Titans to a FG.

Made a bit of money on Jax +3.5 and lost some of it back on the ML. They will kill Cleveland next week. Lay the points. I got -3 yesterday. It's -4 today. The whale has spoken.

First time perusing the mains. King of Asia says the Jets beat the 49ers in 2016 and the game went under, so those are the plays. Jets and Under. It's so F'ing ludicrous that I'm going to play it. Jets/Under parlay.

GL Sac. As noted earlier, I'm on the Jets at +4.5 (-110), but I think they have a shot to win this game as well. Can't wait for kickoff!

Just came on to say the same thing. Line only moved a half point in my book.

I think Rodgers needs to prove he’s still an NFL quarterback.

Until then, I’m taking SF -3.5.

I'm with Cranky.

Rodgers has not played in a full year, and his best years are in his rear view mirror.

The Jets have play makers on both sides of the ball, and their defense is stout, but they do not have a better roster than SF.

There are 2 things preventing me from a large play on the 9ers ...

1) they messed with Purdy this off-season. They tinkered with his mechanics and played him in the preseason with the backups and he looked terrible.

2) even though they got Aiyuk and T Williams signed, they have a few injuries to starters including CMC.

I have to agree with the above couple posts. Way too much love for the Jets ...in the mains and frankly everywhere....The Jets have had a great defense for years . That hasnt really gave results . ARod hasnt played with this offense in a year or really ever.... 49ers or nothing . Not betting it ....I got invited to a " grillout " super excited

Can we use last year as a sample size? Saleh damn near lost the locker room because the defense balled their azzes off, only to have Zach Wilson give away the games. I'd say if they even had average play at QB they would've won more games last year. I think Rodgers gives them at least average QB play.

Also, losing Alijah Vera-Tucker early in the season didn't do their offense any favors. Their offseason acquisitions (Tyron Smith, John Simpson, and Morgan Moses) are all upgrades to their starting O-line, which brings back AVT. Haven't heard how well Olu Fashanu (their 1st round pick) played in camp and pre-season, but I doubt he wasn't good enough to crack the starting 5 on the O-line. It just tells me that they have a good unit right now and Fashanu is insurance this year, and will replace Moses by next year.

Breece Hall healthy again... I think they won more games despite the cruddy QB play Hall was in the game, earlier in the season.

Anyway, what the hell do I know? It's Week 1.

Im a closet Jets fan longer than you be alive .... prolly.... Love the thoughts and agree with a few . AR is the wild card . Think with all the love it sets up for a straight up situational play. AR still may show up to his hometown and the game with a bong 

I took em +3.5 way earlier this week. It's us vs the PB on this game

The Jets have upgraded their roster more than anyone this offseason imo. We'll see if it matters soon enough
