It's never really been anything about the color of a person's skin. It's always been about comfort and familiarity. We gravitate towards people who act and think like ourselves. A person's race may influence our immediate perception, but ultimately wether we like that person or not, is solely dependent on factors other than race.
i have to disagree, this country was built on a foundation of color distinction. the comforts were never common, being familiar was never an option. and in order to gravitate towards people who think and behave the same, the enviornment has to be similar. and america has never allowed this to be. perception becomes reality very quickly when race is involved bruh. see, the vision from whites will never be the same as blacks, i cant speak for the latino but as a man of color i just dont have it in me blindly disregard the factors that contribute to the uneven playing filed of life in america. we can agree to disagree here respectfully.
