So...even a black man has stereotypes of his own race...and yet white people always take the blame for this way of thinking.

its the same thing as some white boy from kentucky and a white cat from new york. white people form their own opinions of black people, we dont do it. the media portrays our race the way they want the public to see it. and yes, my way of thinking and living is TOTALLY different than this cat. i knew he was married to a white woman from the topic of the thread.

It's never really been anything about the color of a person's skin. It's always been about comfort and familiarity. We gravitate towards people who act and think like ourselves. A person's race may influence our immediate perception, but ultimately wether we like that person or not, is solely dependent on factors other than race.
