Clemson 1st half wasn't as easy as it looked, they needed a goal line stand and another 4th down stop in their own territory to cover it.

Utah wiped their a s s with Byu...

And all the rivalry talk, revenge, at home, holy war etc...a few podcasts used these ancient old "sharp" angles.

While BWS merely says "Utah should roll"

Look out for Roquan Smith this year. Did you know that he came 1 tackle shy of tying Brian Urlacher for most tackles in a season by a Bear rookie? And he didnt start week 1.

He was so damn good in Georgia, pure talent. The sky is the limit with him.

Think about what they have done there.... they are always solid.  They always have smart QB play, always have at least 2 good RB's and they have stud DL's year after year.  Their special teams had been the gold standard for a while too, not a hot start last night though.   Imagine if they had a bigger national spotlight

Friday games....  

Like Army, Rice is gonna be one of the worst teams.  Army likely won't have to punt and will have the ball for 40+ minutes.

I'm kinda liking Wake as a sneaky under the radar ATS team this year, and Utah State is replacing so much that Jordan Love (who I love) may have some early issues

Wisconsin has a major edge in the trenches.   USF looks to be a mess internally with staff issues all offseason long.  But they have some really good transfers that can play.   I would love to grab Badgers in-game around a TD if the spot comes up.   Hot and humid down there and USF wants to run a ton of plays

Tulsa will be a small play, Sparty doesn't get very amped up for OOC games and have nearly lost a few of these in recent years.

Rutgers laying 17...   not buying it but wouldn't play it with your money either 

Some good cappers in the mains on Colorado tonight.  I'll need to see them play first

Oklahoma State will be a team I have a close eye on this year, but need to see the QB play first.  Hubbard is gonna gain a ton of yards multiple ways and the WR's are still good.

That’s the one thing that’s stopping me from laying the points with Wiscy. Will they be able to handle the heat. I don’t see how they’re going to stop wiscys run game either.

Here's some stuff for Saturday:

Memphis -4.5  The line actually opened at 6.5 but remains strong. No need to chase a bad SEC team employing entirely new systems on both sides of the ball. Remember Rich Rodriguez ? Yeah, he's now the new OC for Ole Miss. 

Virginia -2.5   There's a big difference in wanting revenge and being able to carry it out. Virginia checks off the boxes. 

Auburn -3.5   Gus Malzahn be damned, but Awwwbin continues to recruit top 10 talent to the plains. Simply a mismatch of personnel. But that hasn't stopped Gus from losing games like this in the past. Nevertheless, Auburn is a sneaky good pick to win the whole damn thing this year.

Man I played CSU. What a disappointing game. Nearly identical box score stats. The dagger in the heart was turnovers and Colorado converting them to td’s

Weird that nobody brought up the Brown/Muschump connection. Willie was the coach in waiting under Mack in Texas, but Mack refused to let go and Willie grabbed the Florida job post Urban. Smart move by him until he got fired 4 years later. I'm sure these guys are outward friends, but inward Willie probably still holds a grudge that Mack wouldn't pass the torch to him in Austin. I wanted to play SC but just thought the line was too high.
