I waited and waited and waited, but this one is not going any higher. Actually Pinnacle has it at +3.5 now so it is a clear sign for me that this one can only go down and not up. Cleveland is a team that is not controling the time of possession enough to cover as favs (0-for YTD). And going back to their last 5 games, their time of possession was from 24:23 to 29:09. As for Orlando, they are well rested after their bye week, looking for a revenge, and playing better in their final two regular season games, controlling the clock, running more than usual and stoping the run. Cleveland in last 5 games went in the opponent red zone 22 times and allowed the opponent to break into their own redzone 32 times. They did not deserve to win their final regular season game and will not win on Monday with their #16 ranked defense (in yards allowed) against #4 D from Orlando.

The public has lost both games thus far, it's not likely they'll go 0-4 for the weekend. And the home teams have lost both games, do you think they'll go 0-4 this weekend ?

 

I would look for the public on Cleveland and Grand Rapids to get at least 1 win, maybe 2.

 

The Cleveland - Orlando game is very interesting coz if the public on Cleveland gets the win it also gives the home team a win, if the public wins with Grand Rapids and loses with Cleveland the home teams go 0-4.

 

I'm not a big Arena guy but using this simple stratergy in any sport can produce many wins.

Cmon now, we are the public, cannot think of many fools on a Monday night shopping AFL for a gambling fix, other than the hundred or so in this forum. 

 

What worries me here is Cleveland is a newcomer to the league and the perfect home team to get that playoff rush for the fans in a TV spot.  The line is up -5 also,

As I suspected the public bounced back to win with Grand Rapids and some won with Cleveland as it opened -2.5 at some books. But most pushed or lost.

 

The public finished wild card round 1-2 or 1-3 depending how you want to call Cleveland game, if late money came in on Cleveland as some suggested pushing the line to 4.5 or 5 then it's definetly a loss for the public.

 

The home teams went 0-4 ats  vs closing lines, likely it will reverse itself next week and the home teams make a come back, as well as the public.  Let's see.
