Before I took some time away from these leagues, the Taipans were an under machine. They have now found some form on their offense which is surprising but now face the Wildcats who are a great defensive unit when their little pest of a guard is playing, Damien Martin. He will play tonight and I think he will cause great problems for the over-achieving Taipans. The last game hit 159, a 90-69 win for Taipans over Perth in Cairns. I expect complete lockdown from both defenses in this game tonight.

The WNBL Finals schedule is out also.. A full week almost of playoffs which I cannot wait for.
Starts January 3rd, Melbourne hosting Perth
Then, 4th January, Townsville host Sydney (this should be epic after last seasons embarrassment.
5th, Melbourne heads to Perth and then 3rd game if needed, will be on the 7th in Perth.
6th January, Sydney then host Townsville and then again on the 8th if they need a 3rd match
So the finals are a little different.. The teams with the better seeding starts on the road and then gets 2 home semi-finals. I guess they are maybe doing that to ease the travel on the girls. Before it was just 1-1-1 but now 1-2. Interesting.
Will look into the odds for futures as well because all these teams are great teams when they have full rosters.
