Question

YTD:WNBL 11-4NBL: 7-6Townsville Fire @ Adelaide Lightning: Fire -12.5No Hodges for several weeks for Adelaide, that just means they will barely score 50 points without her. Expect that Batkovic might get some rest but IMHO, she will play some mins tonight regardless and I see no one on Adelaide stopping the Fire. This line is fairly low if you ask me but I will take the Fire in a pounding tonight.

Adelaide Lightning @ Perth Lynx: Lynx -19.5

Still no Hodges and after their hard fought home loss vs Fire on Friday night, think they will struggle with the flight to Perth, 2nd game in less than 48 hours against a Lynx team angry after their home loss last weekend. This smells ugly. Maybe something like 80-50. Lean under as well as the over backers were lucky last game with a last second bucket to force the over (game hit 142 - total was 141.5 with my books).

Well I have never seen a coach keep their starters in a game when they are up by 40 points. What a brutal smashing that was. Thats what I expected the Fire to do on Friday night which they didn't but thank you Lynx for showing some firepower.
