NBL Round #4

 Perth Wildcats @ Melbourne United: Perth +3.5

Taking the dog because Warwick is out for the Melbourne team and Perth are getting back Martyn even if it is limited mins. Melbourne giving up the most offensive boards in the league and they are facing a big ask against Jawai and Knight as those 2 big guys love grabbing board. Majok might be in a bit of trouble tonight. Will take Perth to cover this game and ruin United's ATS record and hopefully 100% win record.

Not touching tomorrow's game as the Kings are terrible this year and Childress is out for a long time. No play 

Season is getting very long in the tooth for Cairns. Adelaide have had a great 8 days rest compared to Cairns who played in NZ just 3 days ago. Cairns are now 2-4 on the season and the 36ers a nice 3-2. Plenty of way to go in the season but I think this might be the game that Cairns turn their season around. 

Wildcats coming off a road trip as well Freddie and these teams played last week in a nail biter which ended with the Hawks blowing a 4Q lead and Cats winning. The last game was very high scoring, think this one will be as well. I watched the last game, the only thing that scares me about the Hawks was that the bigs for the Cats were bringing down the boards with ease. Knight and Jawai were making the Hawks bigs look stupid.

Good points mate. I give the Hawks an edge on perimeter shooting. If they can shoot the 3 at around 45-50% they will really push the Cats in this one. Townsville hurt Perth with the 3 in the last Cats home game and their perimeter defence will need to be a lot better vs the Hawks.

Taking Perth in this game as Prather has confirmed he is returning for this game. Perth I think just have too much firepower and like I said above, took down some easy boards vs the Hawks last weekend.

Sydney Kings @ Melbourne United: Kings +9.5 (tomorrow 3pm Sydney time)

What goes up, must come down. Melbourne were an amazing 5-0 ATS until they met the Wildcats last round and won by 2 but did not cover the -3.5 spread. Kings on the other hand were a dismal 1-4 ATS until 3 nights ago when they got their new ex NBA player and journey man Al Harrington. He played and did well for the Kings vs the Crocs and I think the Kings can really push Melbourne in this game. Think that the confidence from the Crocs win carries across to this game and we see a good close game..

Well done mate. Cats made Hawks look pedestrian.

How are the overs going this year in the Nbl

Posting NBL here and NBA under the NBA forum but letting the start of the season settle in the NBA as it is really hard to get an edge first few weeks. Picking my spots in NBA. 

The game has definitely picked up with shooting. Teams are running down the court and jacking up a lot of 3's. I don't have stats unfortunately on the over/under but plenty of games have been going over. I would say roughly its something around 60% to the over but some teams like Perth don't go over too much because they actually play D. But, i will be on the over tomorrow once the line is out for Crocs vs Wildcats. Will post that here once the total has been released and I can grab it.
