It’s always tricky betting on first games of the season and it’s not made any easier with one of the teams new to the competition.

Regardless, with the firepower of Trimble, Goulding, Long, McCarron and Acuil, I think the line of 6.5 is too low for United at home.

Melbourne are without Prather and Barlow tonight, SE Melbourne without Gibson and Armstrong.

Really looking forward to seeing Mitch Creek tonight, he played so well for the Nets and Wolves when he had his chance, was unlucky not to get a contract.

I was unaware Prather was out, but that won’t change my mind. United looked very strong in preseason and Long and Acuil are monsters inside.
